Unfinished conversations 

hanging mid air

nameless thoughts 

not knowingly there

Unguided emotions 

gambol around 

as time goes to sleep 

in a slow rocking chair 

A pause-breaking smile 

A smile-breaking pause

A handful of musings 

of banter and flare

In our thoughts colorless

a mural we paint

with few shades of smile,

of ardor with care 

Pretentious of knowing 

what picture we drew 

we end up agreeing
